Since my last post in January we decided to put our house on the market. We started getting it ready in February to go on the market mid-March. We had new carpet installed, repainted every wall ourselves (with some help from friends and family), and put a ton of stuff in storage. It was a lot of work to do in a short period of time, but it was worth it because it sold in two weeks!
The kids were very flexible as the house was completely turned upside down and then put back together within a few days. Here are some before and after shots (during the re-carpeting).

AJ slept on the floor of Lise's room while his was being used for storage a couple of nights.
Seeing this sign in our yard made us sad to think about leaving the house we had been in for eight years.
And we knew we would miss our neighbors...

We looked at several homes in the same area, but we couldn't find a good combination of a house we liked along with a nice back yard. That's when we started looking at homes in O'Fallon, MO. Homes are newer, and you can get more for your money. We fell in love with the first home we saw (during an open house), made an offer the following week, and moved in Memorial Day Weekend! *Pictures of the new house coming soon!
